Decide Your Novel Length

Source: https://fictionformula.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/Determine-Novel-Length...

Writers planning a new novel have a standard formula they use and they go straight to their story structure model and get started. But anyone struggling with story structure or any new writers will find this guide on how to determine their novel length extremely helpful. Not only will it get you excited that you have a way forward, but it will certainly get you started.

Follow the guidelines that can be found on Fiction Formula, adjust it to what you are planning for your novel, run the numbers (or do the math as Americans say) and then you have a starting point for your novel.

Go over to Story Structure if you are still trying to decide which story formula to use.
